WooCommerce merchants can begin integrating their product inventory across Google for free, Google announced Wednesday (June 9).

The announcement affects the 4.4 million merchants who use WooCommerce, and who will now be able to list their goods with a few clicks and at no charge.
“Making it easier for retailers who work with partners like WooCommerce to integrate with Google shopping features across Search, Shopping, Image Search and YouTube means that retailers of all sizes will have even more ways to get discovered,” Google said in a company blog post. “And shoppers will have even more choice as they make their shopping decisions.”
Google says WooCommerce sellers can upload products to Google, create free listings and advertising campaigns and track performance metrics, while never needing to leave the WooCommerce dashboard.
“With over 1 billion shopping sessions happening per day across Google, this integration will help merchants make more connections with shoppers who are eager to discover new brands,” the company said.
Google first announced the integration in late May, part of a larger retail program that also involves merchants on GoDaddy and Square. That announcement followed an earlier report that Google would integrate with Shopify.
As PYMNTS reported at the time, this part of an overall move by Google to more fully integrate itself into the world of commerce.
